AND STUMPTASTIC TREATS! [Alexis] Molly’s back! [Molly] Yay! [Alexis] Tell us what we’re gonna make today, Molly! [Molly] Salad rolls! [Alexis sing-song] We’re gonna roll some
salad rolls, salad rolls. [Alexis] Let’s show you our ingredients… THIS. We’ve got some fresh mint. [Molly] Delectable basil. [Alexis] Sweet beets! [Molly] Juicy peppers! [Alexis] We got a mango! [Molly] The best – lime! [Alexis] Carrots. [Molly] Refreshing ginger. [Alexis] Maple syrup. [Molly] Some peanut butter. [Alexis] Chili garlic sauce. And some soy-free soy sauce. Sauce-a-sauce-sauce. Step One: Make the sauce. [bell rings] [Alexis] Half a cup of peanut butter. [Molly] Kay. [Alexis] Do we even have that? I don’t think we have enough! S#%t. Let’s make the sauce in the jar. I think that’s a good idea. [Molly] Okay. [Alexis] Great our stumps are already really
dirty and we’re only on step one. One and a half tablespoons of soy sauce. Fill ‘er up, Molly!
[both laughing] Two to three tablespoons of maple syrup! Yeah be generous with those tablespoons. Nature’s nectar! Stumps are really good for juicing limes. [Molly] I never juice limes. [Alexis] Whoa! That’s what stumps are for! [both laughing] [Molly] Ooh new method! [both laughing] [Alexis] I think we should put some lime zest
in it, what do you think? [Molly] Why not? I love it. [Alexis laughing] [Alexis] We’ve got different grating techniques
we’re just gonna point that out really quick. Molly’s grating technique looks like this. F#%kin’ A-plus if you ask me about that! I put it inside. Then I grate. Just two different ways you can do it with
your stump! [Molly] Mm-hmm. [Alexis singing] We’re in a little drumming
band! [Alexis] We’re having too much fun! Okay now we put this in the sauce. Let’s cut that sucker in half. Yeah. We’re juicing limes with our stumps. [Molly] This is my first time juicing a lime
with my stump. [Alexis] It takes a lot of arm power! [both laughing]
[Alexis] It’s like they’re wearing hats. And I’ll combine my juice into yours. It’s gonna go all in! [Molly] Mm. [Alexis] Now we need half a teaspoon of chili
garlic sauce. So, squeeze with your stump. Open it up. [Molly] A heaping half a teaspoon! [Alexis] Yeah you are a girl after my own
heart! Half a teaspoon of fresh ginger! Hello friend! Some people like to peel their ginger, I don’t
like to peel anything. [grating] And then take a smell break. [Molly] Mmm… [Alexis] Oh, so good! Put in a little extra. [both laughing] [Molly] I feel like this needs more liquid. [Alexis] That is the last thing we need – some
hot water. Just less than a quarter cup of warm water
and mix it in. Nailed it! [bell rings] [Alexis] Look at this beauty of bounty. Let’s start with peppers. [Molly] Okay! [Alexis] I kind of hold it down with my stump
and then cut sides off of it and then the seeds don’t fall out! This is my favourite when they have babies
growing inside them! [Molly] I know! [Alexis] Look at that! [Molly] Little aliens. [Alexis] There’s an alien growing inside
it! You want nice thin strips. I don’t know how to cut mangoes but we’re
just gonna jump into it. F#%k that worked so well! [Molly] Yeah seriously! [Alexis] And now you peel it. [Molly] That works! Skills! [Alexis] What’d you do? [Molly] Just separated it from the skin with
the knife. [Alexis] Like I said a thousand times – a
sharp knife is the way to go. Hey, we know how to sharpen knives! [Molly] I know! [bell dings] [grating]
[Alexis laughing] [Alexis] And I’ll grate these beets [both laughing] Really get your stump in there secure. [singing] Grate, grate, grate, grate, grate,
grate. S#%t that’s a lot of beets! [Molly] Holy! [Alexis] Let’s do some avocado! [Molly] Alright! [Alexis] Yum! I feel like I’m getting to know my food
so well right now. You are really getting to know your food. [both laughing] [bell rings] [Alexis] ‘Kay get some water and put it
in a pot and noodle it up! Great. The noodles are ready! [Molly] Mmm! [Alexis] Safety first! [Molly] Teamwork! [Alexis] Steam your face. [bell rings] [Alexis] It’s happening! [Molly] Woohoo! [Alexis] Get a nice bowl of warm water and
soak these in it. There now it’s nice and goobery. [Molly] Goobery. [Alexis] S#%t it’s everywhere. Let’s do maybe a piece of avocado, piece
of mango. [Molly] Some beets in there. [Alexis] Some carrots. [Molly] Some basil? [Alexis] Yeah! I think you just kinda tuck one side in, kinda
roll it and tuck it, and then grab the two end pieces, tuck them in, and then continue
rolling. [Alexis] Oh yeah.
[Molly] Oh little baby salad roll! [Alexis] I want to eat you so bad! Should we eat it right away?
[Molly] Yeah! [Alexis] Let’s eat it right away! We need our peanut sauce!
[Molly laughing] [Alexis] You get the first bite cause you’re
the guest. [Molly] Mmm…. Mm-hmm! [Alexis] My turn! [Alexis singing] Saucy, saucy, saucy, sauce
sauce. Holy f#%k! You don’t even know! There’s ginger, there’s a lime zest, there’s
sweet mango, there’s juicy peppers, there’s like crisp basil. You – I wish you were here in the kitchen
with us. This is so good. I want to bathe in this sauce. [music] [Alexis] Sometimes they break. So your options for when they break are, you
can— [Molly] Eat them! [both laughing] [Alexis] Om nom nom. [Molly laughing] [Alexis] It is so great when they break because you get a snack break in the middle of your workflow! [Molly laughing] [inaudible] [Alexis] Mmm! They’re so good! You know, this is what life is all about – making
good f#%ing food with good f#%king people. And stumps, of course, life is about stumps! This was so great. Thanks again so much for being here. We’ll see you next time on Stump Kitchen. Why are the endings always so awkward? [music]
