this chilli paneer is prepared restaurant style ingredients & quantities are listed in the description box let us have a look oil 200 grams paneer cubes 3 medium sized onions, quartered and segments separated 2 medium sized capsicum, deseeded and diced 2 tbsp arrowroot powder/ cornflour, for coating the paneer 2 chopped green chillies 1 tbsp garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp white vinegar 1 tsp red chilli sauce 1 tsp green chilli sauce 1 tbsp soya sauce 1 tbsp tomato ketchup/sauce 1 tsp salt/to taste 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 2-3 tsp hara dhania/cilantro 1 tbsp arrowroot powder/cornflour, for the sauce 1 cup water put enough oil in a pan to fry the paneer. keep on low heat while it heats up prepare the paneer. add 2 tbsp arrowroot powder, 1/2 tsp salt and the red chilli powder to the paneer & mix well now sprinkle a little water and mix well again until the paneer is well coated with the mixture raise heat to medium and when oil is hot fry the paneer cubes until they turn golden when done remove, hold against the edge of the wok to remove the extra oil then remove to a paper napkin-lined plate to help absorb more all the paneer has been fried. we will prepare the dish now add 1 tbsp oil in a pan and let it heat up on medium heat oil is hot, reduce the heat to low-medium and put in the ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped green chillies saute for a minute do not brown them put in the onion and diced capsicum and stir mix for about 15-20 seconds do not overcook the onions & capsicum. keep them crunchy now reduce heat to low and cook for 2-3 minutes. while this cooks prepare the sauce mixture to a bowl add the water, 1 tbsp arrowroot powder, soya sauce, green and red chilli sauces, tomato sauce and vinegar stir the mixture until it is smooth and lump free while you are preparing the sauce stir the veggies in the pan a couple of times the onions & capsicum have cooked for 2-3 minutes put in the sauce mixture, raise heat to high and mix well cook until the sauce becomes a bit thick and comes to a boil now reduce heat to medium. Put in the fried paneer and mix well if you wish to make it a gravy type dish add some more water we like to have a thicker sauce hence this consistency is okay for us at this point check the salt and add if necessary the soya sauce & paneer coating batter has salt as well we are adding about 1/2 a tsp of salt give a good mix then put in the cilantro as well and cook for a minute more you can add some chopped spring onion leaves too at this time. we do not have them right now our dish is finally ready. remove to a serving dish do try it and share your experience if you like the dish please share our video & subscribe to our channel and press the bell icon you-are notified whenever we upload a new video. thanks for watching
